Dan as usual kalo aku lg ga kerja my hobby is watching DVD all day long,, dan suamiku yang tercinta bought me some movie that he buy at DVD store at kemang
One of the movie he buy is The Help,, at first gw pikir awalnya film ini cuma cerita tentang gaya hidup ibu2 rumah tangga back in about 1980's,, but it isn't!
For me the movie is great,, bercerita tentang rasisme pada masa itu dimana orang2 negro ga punya hak untuk bicara dan sebagian besar kaum wanita negro pada saat itu bekerja sebagai pembantu rumah tangga dan mengurus anak2 orang kulit putih
Wanita2 negro ini tertindas dan difitnah serta diperlakukan bukan seperti layaknya manusia,, ibu rumah tangga kulit putih bahkan melarang keras para pembantu negro ini menggunakan toilet yang sama dengan mereka....
Kisah menyentuh dalam film ini adalah ketika "the maid" ini mengurus anak2 orang kulit putih dengan penuh kasih sayang,, sedangkan ibu mereka sendiri tidak terlalu peduli dengan anak2nya dan yang mereka pedulikan adalah hanyalah status sosial mereka di masyarakat,, the maid raise white people children till they grown up and when they grown up,, the mother of children fired their maid because their too old and slow for work and cut off the maid salary just because something didn't reasonable or the worst things fired the maid just because the SPOON!
And then one day, one of the children from white people named Skeeter decided to interview black woman who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families and wants to tells the world about the other side of this maids life
At first no one from black people maid wants to share their story except the maid name Aibileen and then after that one by one from this maid wants to share their story and how they feel working in southern families because a little accident happens with their friends who stole the ring for her son school.........
After collect the story from all the maid then published a book name The Help!
